Num Pang Sandwich Shop is a local Cambodian chain in New York City. Ratha Chau, the co-owner and chef at Num Pang, spent his early childhood in Cambodian. At age 11 Chau and his family settled in Connecticut. He eventually graduated from Clark University in Worcester. His carefully crafted sandwiches tell the story of his diverse background through the authentic fusion of American and Cambodian flavors and ingredients.
The atmosphere is vibrant with graffiti filled walls and hip-hop music playing in the background. The sandwiches are decently priced ranging between $8.75 to 10 dollars. Must tries are the 5-spice Pork Belly, a side of the grilled corn with chipotle mayo and coconut flakes on top and wash it all down with a blood-orange lemonade! Num Pang has six locations ranging from Midtown to downtown. This delicious sandwich shop is a must try!
