EXPloring NYC Rooftops with Shelcy

Nothing makes for a better time than hanging out with friends while being surrounded by beautiful views. Rooftops are the ultimate locations to create magical moments. Even if the cold season is already here, most rooftops are still open and some even come with a heat apparatus. From popular clubs to hidden gems, I have made a list of the best rooftop bars that I’ve had the chance to explore this summer:

5The Gansevoort Penthouse

With a view of the Empire State Building and a rooftop pool, this place has an undeniable charm. Although the food and drinks are a bit pricey, they are totally worth it!

4Bar d’Eau at the Trump Soho

This place is ideal for networking with its beautiful architecture and welcoming feel. Its location also makes it a great fit for small gatherings.

3Top of the Standard

With inspiring views of the Chelsea neighborhood, this place is the ultimate go-to for outdoor dinners or small celebrations. The New Whitney Museum terrace also offers the same viewsand a bigger space if you’re looking to do something more laid-back with your friends.

2Monarch Rooftop

Located in the busy midtown area, this place is the perfect break from the city buzz, which makes it a great spot to catch up with your friends in a cozy setting. Don’t miss out on the romantic view of the Empire State Building at night!

1Penthouse 808

Brunch with a view of the Queensboro Bridge? Um, yes please! If you’re looking for a perfect excuse to have mimosas at 11 am with your friends, this place is the perfect spot! It is big enough to accommodate a huge party and get this, they have jazz performances on weekends. It definitely was one of my favorites!
